Why donate?

Bonsai Winnipeg is not-for-profit. Your donation helps with exhibits, displays, courses, workshops, and community outreach. We present the Art of Bonsai to garden clubs, schools, and cultural organizations. Use the contact form to request a presentation.
What type of donations do you accept?

Used and new bonsai pots, bonsai tools, bonsai books, plants suitable for bonsai, and of course money. Every donation helps.
Can I be a sponsor?

Yes. Bonsai Winnipeg accepts sponsorships from individuals and businesses. In exchange for a sponsorship of money or services, Bonsai Winnipeg will add your name or logo to all our marketing material. Contact us for more details.
Is there a tax deduction for donations?

At this time, we cannot provide tax deduction receipts for donations.

How can I volunteer?

Volunteering is any capacity if a great way to network with other members and learn a lot from shared experiences. Hit the button below to read more about volunteer opportunities.
Can I bring friends to volunteer with me?

Yes. Friends and family are welcome. Some of our members volunteer with their children. It's a great way to spend quality time together and help the club at the same time.
Where do you volunteer?
- Monthly meetings: Help with raffle, consider doing a demo, or talk about a problem tree, or how you fixed a problem tree…
- Annual Display, WAG (Winnipeg Art Gallery) Exhibit, Spring and Fall Digs, Workshops, Introduction to Growing Bonsai Course, December Party Dinner, and more.
Do you have long-term volunteer positions?

Yes. Consider serving as a Board Member. Bring your time and talents, and we will find you a good fit.
